The book's subtitle is Storymapping Products That People Love.

There are several good ideas here, but in my opinion, there isn't enough about the actual storymapping.

★★★☆☆

I picked up some good nuggets, and a few references to other books, but was overall disappointed at the lack of practical usable information.

The author also force-fits a number of valuable discovery and early design steps to a clichéd story framework that doesn't really help.

I can't recommend this to anyone. Perhaps the biggest benefit, to me, is that I am now very interested in learning about how writers for TV and film map their stories … and I'm looking forward to following up on that.
